Program options include:

Spoken English Assessments

Initial & final assessments based on real-time performance and recorded speech samples. We initially focus on each speaker's general intelligibility and ask, Do we simply need to adjust to the speaker's English pronunciation or is significant listener effort required? If the latter, we then listen as trained linguists and determine the recommended training priorities. At the end of each program, we conduct a final assessment. Training participants receive detailed feedback with each assessment. .

Global-English Speaking Skills Training

In-person, virtual, and customized speech training programs where we help demystify the English sound system while keeping it talky-talk practical. We equip our speakers-in-training with the tools, guidance and practice opportunities to help them speak in their clearest English for professional presentations, interviews, and meetings.

Telephone Coaching

30-minute telephone coaching sessions for targeted practice in spontaneous speech via telephone or teleconference. These sessions are intended to cement any previous speech training as well as help speakers improve their telephone speech clarity. Speakers-in-training receive immediate feedback and guidance throughout each session.

Presentation Delivery Skills Training

In-person and virtual workshop programs. We equip global workforce professionals with strategies and immediate feedback on speech clarity, information delivery and audience interaction. Our mission is to help them present their specialized knowledge and insightful perspectives effectively and efficiently.

Fluency Building Skills Training

Mini-programs which are intended to help develop a speaker's English Fluency. Fluency refers to language comfort level, vocabulary/idiom use, and small talk/conversation ease. These three elements generally help drive and maintain engaging interactions.

Typical questions

Do you offer customized programs? 

Yes, we do. Typically, we first talk with the team leaders to find out what the speakers-in-training need to do in spoken English. Deliver presentations? Participate in virtual meetings? Sell a service or product to a potential client? Communicate with patients? Next, we conduct initial speech assessments to determine the speech training priorities. From here, we design each program to match the speech and professional communication needs of our training participants.

What's the time commitment?

Our global English-speech training programs typically run 6-8 weeks. They are carefully designed so that training participants practice, on average, for 20-30 minutes per day (5 days per week). Our communication skills workshops and programs run anywhere from 2 hours to 10 weeks.

What's your approach?

We prioritize practice to help our clients improve their spoken English communication skills. In our speech training programs, we use a kinesthetic approach with a variety of practice techniques to help cement each speech feature for spontaneous real-time use. Clients who have worked 8-10 hours just before our sessions typically appreciate the mental break from the work day. To help our speakers-in-training practice regularly, we have created an online dedicated training space that provides easy access to step-by-step guidance at any time from anywhere.

Do you help clients only with spoken English? How about written English?

Our area of expertise is spoken English. However, we know of other industry professionals who specialize in business and academic writing. We are happy to help you find a good match for your needs.

Do your instructors hold an advanced degree and have experience with this specialized type of training?

Yes, each instructor has earned a masters in Applied Linguistics-TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Each instructor also has a minimum of eight years of experience working with global professionals on their spoken English.
